| Stellar 7-foot-2 inch basketball player Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, born Lew Alcindor, played more games and scored more points than anyone in NBA history. Abdul-Jabbar won most- valuable player honors an unprecedented six times and helped secure six league championships for his team. He was also a champion player at UCLA, where he led his team to three national titles.
