1956 B-58 Introduced

Aerospatiale introduced the twin jet Caravelle. The plane was the frist jet created for the short haul market. The first Caravelle entered the service of Air France on May 9th 1959. The Caravelle was designed to carry between 60 and 99 passengers depending on the configuration.
