Nicholas II 1868- 1918 Russian Monarch
After the Revolution of 1905, he agreed to establish a Russian parliament, the Dumas, but this body was quickly dissolved. At the outbreak of World War I, he took personal command of the Russian Army. When strikes and rioting broke out in Petrograd, Nicolas was forced to abdicate.
