Lavinia Logan Str

Lavinia Logan (Str: t. 145)

Lavinia Logan, a steamer, was built at Parkersburg, W. VR., in 1961; acquired hy the Army; and used as a transport and povider boat on the Mississippi and its bitutaries-during the early years of the Civil War. She was purchased by the Navy at Louisville, Ky., 31 August 1864 and sunk in the Mississippi 23 September.
